With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carl E. Reid of Hiawatha, Kansas, whose life came to an end on February 27, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his half-sister Mary Lee Kneisel; his brother Paul Reid; his half-brothers, Clarence Reid and Jack Cantor; his cousins, Effie Chapman and Dora Slavin; his nephews, Howard Wenger and Vernon Wenger; and his niece Dian Wenger.
He is survived by: his nephew Arthur Wenger (Martha); and his great-nephew Tim. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (124 S 7th St, Hiawatha, KS 66434). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Brown County Historical Society left in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7th Street, 66434.
