He was predeceased by: his half-sister Mary Lee Kneisel; his brother Paul Reid; his half-brothers, Clarence Reid and Jack Cantor; his cousins, Effie Chapman and Dora Slavin; his nephews, Howard Wenger and Vernon Wenger; and his niece Dian Wenger.
He is survived by: his nephew Arthur Wenger (Martha); and his great-nephew Tim. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
