With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Avery Steward of Hiawatha, Kansas, born in Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away on June 27, 2021 at the age of 29. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Avery Steward to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Louanna Grier (Sanders), Harry and Rose Stevens (Logan); and his brother Sean Steward.

He is survived by: his parents, Milton Steward and Roberta Steward (Grier) of Hiawatha; his siblings, DeRon Steward of Hiawatha and Sara Roberts (Phil) of Baileyville, KS.; his nieces, Ciera Hastings (Ben) of Mesquite, TX, Sophia, Skylar Steward of Hiawatha and Cecilia; and his nephew Houston Roberts of Baileyville. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Avery Steward Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7th St., Hiawatha 66434.
