He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Bachman and Ella Bachman (Ewy); his children, Jerry Bachman and Vickie Bachman; and his sister Lois Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Arline M. Young; and his sons, Larry Bachman (Valorie) of Newton and Randy Bachman (Shannon) of Hesston. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
