He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Burckhart and Mabel Ressler Burckhart; his sister Marilyn Burckhart; and his granddaughter Sara Swartzendruber. He is survived by: his wife Marna Gaeddert; his children, Sheryl Miller (Wes) of St. Clairsville, Kristen Mayhue (Mark) of North Newton, Kay Swartzendruber (Dave) of Lakewood and Phil Burckhart (Joanne) of Buhler, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Aaron Miller (Angie) of Lancaster, PA, Kindra Filburn (Seth), Seth Miller (Victoria), Rachael Miller of Wheeling, Blaire Mayhue (Matt Stucky), Erin Mayhue, Cody Swartzendruber, Garrett Swartzendruber and Luke Burckhart; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Maya, Josiah, Gideon Filburn, Adeline, Asa Miller and Owen Stucky; and his sisters, Carolyn Powers of Wooster and Mary Hoover (Bill) of Orrville, Ohio.. He is also survived by Numerous sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
