She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Nitzsche and Katie Nitzsche; her husband Vernon Ripley; and her siblings, Dale Nitzsche, Lois Selzer, Willard Nitzsche and Mae Mumaw. She is also survived by 15 nephews and nieces, and numerous great- and great-great nephews and nieces.
