Marna L. Burckhart Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2023, at the age of 91, Marna L. Burckhart of Hesston, Kansas, born in Buhler, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gaeddert and Katherine Gaeddert (Siemens); her husband Paul Ressler Burckhart; her sister Mary Jane Wiens; and her granddaughter Sara Swartzendruber.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Miller (Wes) of St. Clairsville, Kristen Mayhue (Mark) of North Newton, Kay Swartzendruber (Dave) of Lakewood, Colo and Phil Burckhart (Joanne) of Buhler; her siblings, Lois Leinbach (Gerald) of Hesston, Frank Gaeddert (Mary Ellen) of Hesston, Leon Gaeddert (Ruth) of Buhler and John Gaeddert (LaDonna) of Buhler; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Powers of Wooster, OH and Mary Hoover (Bill) of Orrville, OH. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
