Lela Ruth Wenger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2022, at the age of 92, Lela Ruth Wenger of Hesston, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul H. Wenger; her grandson Scott Thomas; her parents, Ezra Bentch and Opal Bentch (McDavitt); and her siblings, Don Bentch (Mary Louise), C. E. Bentch (Betty), Glendola Wenger (Roy) and Eunice Lehman (Quintin).
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara; her grandson Dwayne; her children, Barb Thomas (Lew) of Cedar Falls, IA, Twila Snowden (Jeff) of Fort Collins, CO, Dwayne Wenger (Brenda) of Hesston, KS and Donna Heinrichs (Romney) of Hesston, KS; and her grandchildren, Shawn Thomas (Abby) of Olympia, WA, Cary Snowden (Marissa Marr) of Stafford, VA, Kendall Wenger (Emily) of Rockingham, VA, Lance Wenger (Kristin) of Rockingham, VA, Alicia Showalter (Shane) of Singers Glen, VA, Andrew Heinrichs of Hesston, KS and Katrina Heinrichs of Hesston, KS. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorials will go to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice who provided loving care for both Paul and Lela in their last days, in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, PO Box 32, Hesston, Kansas 67062.
