He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Burkholder and Barbara Burkholder (Basinger); his wife Charlene Burkholder; his siblings, Anne Larsen and John Burkholder; and his brother-in-law Robert Busenitz.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Burkholder (Sally) of Hesston, KS, Jonathan Burkholder (Jeanna) of Sammamish, WA, Tiffany Burkholder of Omaha, NE and Candice Bradford (Jeff) of Gilbert, AZ; his grandchildren, Cassidy Hoyt (Spencer), Carson Burkholder, Thaddaeus, Elias, Matthias Smith, Graham, Elliot Burkholder, Tyson and Taylor Bradford; his sisters, Fayth Boeker (Paul), Barb Busenitz and Cynthia Wiens (Dennis); and his siblings-in-law, Gilbert Larsen and Trudy Burkholder. He is also survived by 18 nephews and nieces.
