He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Birkey and Lena Oyer Birkey. He is survived by: his wife Lois Snyder Birkey; and his children, Lowell (Dianne) of Wichita, KS., Marlin (Cherie) of Hays, KS., Dellis (Sharon) of Wichita, KS. and Marcia Weaver (Dave) of Apple Creek. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, and 16 Great Grandchildren.
