It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys June Hershberger of Hesston, Kansas, born in Clinton, Indiana, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Kauffman and Alma Kauffman (Showalter); her husband James Hershberger of Hesston, KS; her children, Kenneth James and Miriam Hershberger; and her siblings, Loa Miller, Jenni Pletcher, Maxine Kauffman and Dana Kauffman.
She is survived by: her son Paul Hershberger (Lorie) of Coldwater, MI; her grandsons, Andrew Hershberger (Ellie) and Mark Eash Hershberger (Lauren); her son Delvin (Michele) of Hesston, KS; her grandchildren, Tara Hershberger and Erin Hershberger (Jay Carpenter); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Kauffman of Millersburg, IN, Grace Hershberger of Goshen, IN and Martha Hershberger of Hesston, KS.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions to aid in the educational support of international students can be made to Hesston College, for the Miriam Hershberger Memorial Endowment Fund.
