He was predeceased by : his parents, George Brown, Jr. and Dora Brown (Schweitzer). He is survived by : his wife Carol Brown of Hesston, Kansas; his children, Shelley Drassen (Joe) of O'Fallen and Gary Brown of McPherson, Kansas; his sister Ann Chandley (John) of Hutchinson, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Megan Richmond (Matt) and Allison Drassen; and his great grandchild Tyson Reeves.
