He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Samuel and Louise Angelina Umholtz (Deschner); his wife Cathy Lea Burkhart; and his siblings, Harold Umholtz, Ross Umholtz, John Umholtz and Alice Grisier.
He is survived by: his children, Leanne (Michael Berry) of Derby, Bruce (Michelle Umholtz) of Udall, Lynn (Brenda Umholtz) of Wichita and Craig (Tina Umholtz) of Burden; his grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Cy Umholtz, Bradly Berry, Lindsy Umholtz, Kayla Lawhon, Tyler Davis and Shane Davis; his great grandchildren, Acen Suffron, Avaree Suffron, Peyton Miller, Cole Miller, Alex Miller, Kyle Miller, Abby Davis, Annisten Davis, Parker Davis, Tessa Davis and Julien Lawhon; and his sisters, Wilma Strawder of Inman, Norma Jean Nebergall of Newton and Dorothy Nickel of Anthony.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Udall Baptist Church.
