She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Henry and Alverta Schmidt (Nightingale). She is survived by: her husband Luke Martin of Hesston; her children, Celesta Derksen (Lance) of Moundridge, Joy Litwiller (Dave) of Hillsboro, Sylvan Martin (Sherri) of Tonasket, WA, Michael Martin (Jewel) of Tonasket, WA, Dani Martin (Becky) of Dardanelle, AR and Joe Martin of Hesston; her daughter-in-law Erin Martin of Hesston; her sister Rosalie Koehn (Daniel) of Halstead; and her siblings-in-law, Conrad Yost of Iroquois, SD, Ordo Holdeman of Versailles, MO, Vada Schmidt of Brooksville, MS, Verna Schmidt of Brooksville, MS, Mary Martin of New Holland, PA and Alta Martin of Ephrata, PA. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Meridian Church of God in Christ (2894 Apache Rd, Hesston, KS 67062).
