It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Elaine Goertzen of Hesston, Kansas, who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Agnes Elaine Goertzen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abe Bergen and Elizabeth Bergen (Fast); and her sister Leona. She is survived by: her husband Don Goertzen; her sons, Galen (Denece) of Spokane, WA, Kevin (Denise) of Quicksburg, VA and Michael (Elizabeth) of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, Jessica Velasquez (David) and Stephan (Virginia); and her great grandchildren, Ryan and Maya.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Whitestone Mennonite Church (215 N Main St, Hesston, KS 67062).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mennonite Central Committee in Agnes' memory.
