He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Solko and Lucille Solko (Marintzer); and his brothers, Samuel and Delmar. He is survived by: his brother Don; his wife Diana Dewey; his children, Destiny Schroder (James), Rachelle Mathura (Shivi), RayeAnn Wright (Lynn), Mark Solko, Renae Berry (Chris) and Janelle Solko; his grandchildren, Donnovan (Hannah), Dalton, Ceanne, Jayden, Garrett, Abbie, Elliott and Aryanna; and his siblings, Kenneth, Mary Ann, Patrick, Jane and Alan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Hope Springs or Rawlins County High School Trap Team and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
