He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hanson and Anne Hanson (Henningsen); his brother Edward; his niece Deann Breen; his nephew Michael Thompson; and his brother-in-law Dennis Horney.
He is survived by: his sisters, Elizabeth Horney of Wichita and Christina Thompson of Colby; and his nieces and nephews, Fonda Mangino (John) of Nantick, MA, Troy Emigh (Fran) of Wichita, KS, Lisa Biggs (Quinn) of Rockville, MD, Debbie Woods (Mike) of Monument, CO, Brian Hanson (Jacque) of Atwood, KS and April Mull of Colby, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
