He was predeceased by: his wife Helene Missildine (Missildine); his parents, Ralph Charles Boelling and Betty Jean Boelling (Young) of Herington; his sister Jarolyn Jean Schlesener (Mike) of Dalhart, TX; and his grandparents, Glenn Young, Marion Young (Flynn) of Herington, Fred J Boelling and Bertha O Boelling (McCormick) of Herington.
He is survived by: his children, Allison Jean Braun (Chris) of Kansas City, KS. and Elizabeth Leigh Krause (Matt) of Solomon, KS; his grandsons, Logan Matthew Krause of Ottawa, KS and Spencer Paul Krause of Solomon, KS; his brother Ross Kent Boelling (Lynnette) of Junction City, KS; and his siblings-in-law, John Missildine of Highland View, MO, Jackie Caldwell of Olathe, KS and Lisa Gartner (Dave) of Andover, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests in-lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Herington Public Library, Herington Municipal Hospital, or the Helene Boelling Educational Fund, in care of Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herington Chapel, 404 S Broadway, Herington, KS 67449-3038.
