In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Lawana's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Webb and Leora Webb (Myers) of Barnard; her husband Paul Kohman; and her sisters, Sandra Webb and Waloka Nelson.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark (Wendy) of Colorado Springs, CO and Monte (Marianne); and her sister Thayla Adams of Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (201 E Hawley St, Herington, KS 67449). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given in memory of Lawana to the "Hope Community Education Endowment Association" (Checks can be sent to Monte Kohman, 1154 300th Ave, Hope, KS 67451).
