He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Schlesener and Jennie E. Schlesener (Fall); and his siblings, Merrill, James and Geraldine Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Schneider of Herington; his children, Thomas Schlesener of Herington, Georgia Rucker (Garland) of Herington, Jayne Engle (Roger) of Herington, Christine Trapp (Michael) of Herington and Ginger Born (Michael) of Overland Park; his grandchildren, Jennifer Scott (Matthew), Elizabeth Schlesener, Justus Rucker, Jonathan Rucker (Kaleigh), Travis Engle (Katie), Andrea Mulvany (Ryan), Sarah Jo Trapp, Nicholas Trapp (Lindy), Lucas Born (Nikki) and Steven Born; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Logan Scott, Lillian, Isaac Rucker, Megan, Caleb Engle, Molly, Henry Mulvany, Fallon Trapp, Kameron Hall, William, Lilly Ann and Garbriel Born.
Memorial contributions in George's name may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Dickinson County Hospice.
