He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Herpich and Shirley Herpich-Harmon (Bell); his wife Alfrieda Byers of Burdick; his stepfather Lester Harmon of Herington; his children, Nick Herpich (Ashley) of Herington and Morgan Herpich (James Wegner) of Abilene; his stepchildren, Kevin Smith of Chapman, Jami Bell (Chad Weller) of Chapman, Erin Smith of Abilene, Matthew Smith (Crystal) of Raymore, MO, Scott Smith (Sara) of Salina and Randi Smith of Salina; and his siblings, Thomas Herpich (Connie) of Burdick, Kerry Swinney (Ken) of Derby, Scott Herpich (Kathy) of Herington and Lori Hughes (Arthur) of Wichita.
