He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo M. Burris and Grace H. Burris (Alma); his wife Barbara Lee Hunt; his daughter Helen Burris; and his siblings, Dale and Darrel Burris.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Burris (Trish) of Craig, CO, Carl Burris, Jr. (Samantha) of Herington, Marjorie Brown of Hutchinson and Tina Gosson of Manhattan; and his sisters, Nancy Ann Metz of Michigan and Velma Sue Necker of Michigan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Herington VFW Post 1281 in care of the funeral home.
