With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleta Jean Baker of Hepler, Kansas, born in Girard, Kansas, who passed away on February 28, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Chambers and Adna Chambers (Pape); her spouse Claude D. Baker; her sons-in-law, Jim Stroud and Orville Kroenke; her granddaughters, Traci Stroud Krouse and Jamie R. Ausemus Hallacy; her brother Wesley; and her sister-in-law Betty Chambers.
She is survived by: her children, William W. Baker (Reta) of Frontenac, Charles Baker (Janice) of Hepler, Marilyn Stroud of Moran, Susan Kroenke of Iola and Claudia Ausemus (Jim) of Hepler; and her sister Kathalene Ausemus (Fred) of Fort Scott. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
