He is survived by: his wife Lorena Deighton (Mendenhall) of Hays; his stepson Brad Deighton (Carroll) of Dallas, TX; his sons, Lonnie Kellogg (Jennifer) of Hays and Larry Kellogg of Salina; his grandchildren, Jason Duke (Jonna) of Minnesota, Josh Duke (Tina) of Minnesota, Lindsey Duke of Minnesota, Suzanne Kellogg (Jake) of Minnesota, Marissa Scherven of Minnesota and Madeline Scherven of Minnesota; and his great grandchildren, Lane of Minnesota, Ava Belle of Minnesota, Alexis of Minnesota, Zofie of Minnesota, August of Minnesota, Stella of Minnesota, Juniper of Minnesota, Sage of Minnesota and Wilmer Duke of Minnesota.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or to the Athletic Department at Fort Hays State University, in care of Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine Street, Hays, Kansas.
