She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Klaus and Pauline Klaus (Leiker); her husband Joseph G. "Joe" Geist; her grandson Christopher John Geist; and her siblings, Fred "Fritz" Klaus, Elmer Klaus, Melvin Klaus, Ernie Klaus and Georgine Herl-Eldredge.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph G. Geist Jr. of Hays, KS, Henry "Hank" Geist (Sue) of Hays, KS and Nancy Ann Seib (Mike) of Hays, KS; and her siblings, Gerald "Gerry" Klaus (Peggy) of Hays, KS and Gloria Leiker (Don) of Hays, KS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
