He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred F. Wasinger and Catherine Wasinger (Nussbaum); and his brothers, Roger and Gene. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Thomas W. Wasinger Jr., Charlotte of Hays and Julie of Hays; and his siblings, Alfred F. Wasinger, Louise Walters and Sharon Lang.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Good Samaritan Society of Ellis or St. Mary's Church.
