He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Gatschet and Agnes L. Gatschet (Brull); his daughter Sarah McLaughlin; his siblings, Francis Gatschet and Jean Winter; and his great grandchild Kelli Gatschet.
He is survived by: his former wives, Irene Satterlee and Neva Haerich (Bell); his children, Tim Gatschet of Andover, Steve Gatschet (Lisa) of Franktown, CO, Mike Gatschet (Dianne) of Lakewood, CO and Anne Luke of Wichita; his son-in-law Tracy McLaughlin of Seattle, WA; and his brothers, Paul Gatschet (Carolyn) of Hays and George Gatschet of Hays. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or for masses.
