She is survived by: her husband Donald Gottschalk of Hays; her children, Leann Schumacher (Steve) of Hays, Lou Ann Gottschalk of Hays, Lisa Gabel (Todd) of Hays and Neil Gottschalk (Ann) of Hays; her siblings, Donald Befort (Sharron) of Hays, Billy Befort of Sacramento, CA, Jean Befort (Concordia) and Marge Hines (Tony) of Hays; and her grandchildren, Chris, Brandon Riedel, Ava Schumacher, Jared, Taylor Gabel, Matthew, Allison and Justin Gottschalk.
Memorials are suggested to HaysMed Hospice, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for the Unify, Beautify, Glorify Campaign, or to St. John's Chapel at Via Christi Village.
