It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Basgall (Hays, Kansas), born in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jarett Ray Basgall; his father Hubert Basgall; and his brother Randy Basgall. He is survived by: his mother Vonna Basgall of Sharon Springs, KS; his partner Barbara-Jean Ottley; his partner's child Ashton Ottley of Hays, KS; and his siblings, Sherry Frasier (Curt) of Beloit, KS, Barry Basgall (Cheryl) of Broken Arrow, OK, Marla Turner (John) of Jacksonville, FL, Janet Ruder (Vincent) of Kemah, TX, Don Basgall (JoAnna) of Sharon Springs, KS and Kent Basgall (Susan) of Shawnee, KS. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 16 great-nieces and nephews and 5 great-great nieces and nephews and many more family and friends.
