She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Potter and Velma Potter (Farthing); and her sister Debra. She is survived by: her husband Gary R. Owen; her children, Kristina Haahr (Chuck) of El Dorado and Michael Owen (Kristen) of Hockley; and her grandchildren, Isaac Haahr, Isabelle Haahr and Mikala Owen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
