She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Ashbaugh and Minnie Ashbaugh (Haneke); her spouse August; her son Theodore Herman; and her brothers, Darwin Ashbaugh, Dwayne Ashbaugh and Steve Ashbaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy of Hays, Danny (Sarah Brogden) of Hays, Galen (Annette) of Hays, Kimberly Thomason (Michael) of Hays and Tammy Bracelin (Chris) of St. Francis, KS; her sister Dixie Seibel (Jack) of Peoria, IL; and her sister-in-law Karen Ashbaugh (Ptaschek) of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
