It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sammy Dean Patterson of Hays, Kansas, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Patterson and Verna Patterson (Farris). He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Klaus of Hays; his son Timmy Patterson of Texas; his stepchildren, Karen Simpson (Tom) of Arizona, Bruce Befort (Janel) of Texas, Rod Befort (Kathy) of Garden City, Clayton Befort (Sharon) of Hays and Rex Befort (Karen) of Wichita; and his grandchildren, Chad, Cole, Cory, Becky, Tammy, Clinton, Austin, Shellie, Andy and Mitch. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
