Ruth E. Zimmerman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth E. Zimmerman of Hays, Kansas, born in Schoenchen, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kronewitter and Julia Kronewitter (Gottschalk); her husband Roy; her daughter Sandra "Sandy" Sanders; her son-in-law James F. Werth; and her siblings, Jim Kronewitter, Bernice Werth and Betty Rajewski.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Zimmerman (Anne) of Hays, Sheila Kelsay (Larry) of Wichita, Karen Kisner (Dale) of Hays and Kay Werth (Loran) of Hays; and her sisters, Jane Kisner of Hays and Carol Legleiter of Hays. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested for masses or to St. John's Chapel at Via Christi.
