Ruth Ann Pruitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ann Pruitt of Hays, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bemmels and Esther Bemmels (Powers); and her daughter-in-law Nicola Pruitt. She is survived by: her husband Roger A. Pruitt; her sons, David Pruitt and Douglas Pruitt (Amy Malone-Pruitt); her grandchildren, Morgan, Daniel, Jennifer, Andrew, Helen and Fiona Pruitt; and her brother William Bemmels (Mary).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (2900 Hall St, Hays, KS 67601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Daughters of the American Revolution or to Hays Good Samaritan Society.
