He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Nolan. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Nolan (Burress); his close friend Patrick Nolan (Meyeres) of Hays; his stepparents, Ron Dodson of Hays and Mary Nolan of Wichita; and his brothers, Scott Nolan (Denise) of Moses Lake, WA, Stacey Nolan of Hays, Les Nolan (Elizabeth) of Great Bend and Dustin Nolan (Sarah) of Goddard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church or to the Humane Society of the High Plains.
