With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Dunbar Macdonald of Hays, Kansas, who passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anderson Dunbar and Violet Elizabeth Jane Macdonald (Mulholland); and his siblings, Violet Hoogwerff and James Stephen Macdonald. He is survived by: his wife Betty of Hays; his son Ian Macdonald (Brook) of Olathe; his grandson Seth Macdonald; his sisters, Dorothy Searle of Oshawa, Ontario, Mai Mackensie of Edinburgh and Scotland; his cousin Maida Stadtler of Washington, D. C.; and his brother-in-law Thomas Webb of Muncie, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
