He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar C. Glassman and Amelia Glassman (Haas); his son Curtis Glassman; and his sisters, Lillian Hayes and Bernita Hammerschmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Edgar Glassman (Diana) of Hays, Debbie Lewton of Hays, Shelly Glassman of Great Bend, Bobbi Irwin (Les) of Topeka and Amy Huff of Hays; his sisters, Esther Pfannenstiel of Billings, MT, Roseann Keast of Longmont, CO and Betty Tenuta (Al) of Tucson, AZ; and his grandchildren, Heath Funk (Shannon), Bobby Lewton (Haley), Andy Lewton (Jacklyn), Jordan Surmeier, Cody Huff (Tiffany), Ben Glassman (Megan), Colin Glassman and Nick Glassman. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or for masses.
