J., Avery and Nicholas; his daughter Raynell Carpenter (Aaron) of Norton; his grandchildren, Mayme, Cora, Maggie, Luke and Lucy; his son Brenton Major (Kelly) of Hays; his grandchildren, Samuel and Hadley; his stepfather Donald Strube; his mother-in-law JoAnn Adams; his sister Sheryl Ann Major; and also, Alyne Krause Major Strube of Choctaw, OK, Terry Johnson of Choctaw, OK and LeAnna Larson (Chris) of Newcastle, OK..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (1906 Pine St, Hays, KS 67601). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (215 W 13th St, Hays, KS 67601).
