With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norinne Sylvia Petersen of Hays, Kansas, who passed away on August 16, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sales and Esther Sales (Strom); her husband Donald L. Petersen; her brothers, John Sales (Joyce) and Fred Sales (Marilyn); and her daughter-in-law Mary Petersen.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Petersen of Bedford and JaNell Lopez (Greg) of Overland Park; her grandchildren, Craig Petersen, Brad Petersen, Christy Catuncan (Patrick), Lindsay Torres, Danielle Hall (DJ), Ashley Anguiano (Tom), Allie Lopez and Gracie Lopez; and her sister-in-law Velma Kindred of Boise. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church – Sunday School or Hays Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home.
