He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Louis Schauvliege and Mildred "Mickey" Schauvliege Rupp (Bowie); his stepfather Michael M. Rupp; his brother Chuck Schauvliege; his grandparents, Mabell, Don Bowie, Irene and Louis Schauvliege; and his stepgrandparents, Andrew, Adeline Rupp and Charles Greenstreet.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tim S. Rupp, Jennifer Rupp (Gus Hallin) and Vicki Runge; and his former wife JoAnn Schauvliege. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
