He was predeceased by: his parents, John Muench and Monica Norris; his wife Carla Muench; his brothers, JD Muench and Pat Muench; and his nephew Jay Roger Muench.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Muench (David) of Wichita and Christopher Muench (Nicole) of Hays; his stepsons, Michael Mortimore of Chase and Kenneth Mortimore (Billie Jo) of Scott City; and his sisters, Jennifer Fairleigh (John) of Scott City and Janet Fiegel of Loveland. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces, and nephews.
