He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidor Schumacher and Cecilia Schumacher (Dinges); his son-in-law Tom Holloway; his brothers, Marvin, Ralph, Eddie, Cletus and Francis Schumacher; his siblings-in-law, Stan Staab, Mildred and Karen Schumacher; and his granddaughter Kristen Gabel.
He is survived by: his wife Norma A. Dreiling of Hays; his daughters, Connie Morgan (Calvin) of Lakeview, AR, Gerri Schumacher of Hays and Gail Wickham (Michael) of Hays; his siblings, Don Schumacher of Hays, Evelyn Dreher (Elmer) of Hays, Dolores VonFeldt (Gary) of Hays and Carol Staab of Hays; his sisters-in-law, Verna of Hays, Cora of Hays and Sharon Schumacher of Hays; and his grandsons, Jason Gabel, Jeremy Gabel (Niki), Ryan Forsythe (Cammie), Rusty Wickham (Katie) and Copeland Wickham (Ember). He is also survived by six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
