It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matilda Leiker of Hays, Kansas, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matilda Leiker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Honas and Mary Honas (Weber); her husband Milton J. Leiker of Antonino; and her brothers, Alfred and Adolph Honas.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur (Barbara), Lorraine "Laura", Duane (Anne), Mark (Marla) and Warren (Karen); and her siblings, Dorothy Dechant, Henry Honas (Joyce) and William Honas (Brenda). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to A Different Mindset Association, a local group offering support to those with Dementia and Alzheimer's and their caregivers.
