It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian VanLoenen of Hays, Kansas, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Diehl and Bridget Anne Diehl (Jacobs); her husband Douglas O. "Doug" VanLoenen; and her siblings, William "Willie" Diehl, Michael Diehl, Judy Pohlenz, Kristina Schmidt, Jacob Diehl and Kathleen Diehl.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Seltmann (Ryan) of Hays, KS; her granddaughter Mallory Grace Seltmann; her sons, Matthew VanLoenen of Hays, KS, Andrew VanLoenen of Kansas City, KS and Jason VanLoenen of Kansas City, KS; and her siblings, Virginia Ekey of Wichita, KS, Janice Krannawitter (Don) of Hays, KS, Ken Diehl (Carol) of Roseville, CA and Karen Swain of Lawrence, KS..
