He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gottschalk and Edith Gottschalk (Linenberger); his son Keith Gottschalk; his grandson Kaden Gottschalk; and his brothers, Ralph, Roger and Wayne Gottschalk.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Gottschalk of Hays; his sons, Kevin Gottschalk (Chris) of Hays and Kent Gottschalk (Michelle) of Wichita; his daughter-in-law Sandy Gottschalk of Hays; his grandchildren, Brandon Gottschalk (Maci) of Hays, Dylan Gottschalk (Olivia) of Spring Hill, Kaylor Gottschalk of Hays and Keeton Gottschalk of Wichita; his brother Robert Gottschalk of Hays; and his sister-in-law Sharon Gottschalk of Hays.
