She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Schumacher and Catherine Schumacher (Schlyer); and her son-in-law Bob Hammerschmidt. She is survived by: her children, Chuck McGinnis of Hays, Mike McGinnis (Carol) of San Marcos, Tony McGinnis of Wichita, Pat Hammerschmidt of Hays, Myrna McGinnis (Loretta Fletcher) of Wichita, Kathy McGinnis (J. J. Legleiter) of Hays and Barb Herrman (Troy) of Hutchinson; and her grandchildren, Allie Nicholson (Andrew), Kirstin Benedict, Blake McGinnis, Ryan Hammerschmidt, Brandon Herrman, Shayde McGinnis and Tobyn McGinnis. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
