Lavern J. Augustine Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2024, at the age of 82, Lavern J. Augustine (Hays, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Augustine and Cunnigunda Augustine (Korbe); and his siblings, Alfred, Marvin, Ralph, Francis Augustine, Mary Ann Whitaker, Lucille Younger, Josephine Urban and Norma Weigel.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Schmidt of Hays; his children, Lavern "Vern" Augustine (Therese) of Bucyrus and Tammy Anderson (Rich) of Hays; his brother Robert Augustine of Hays; his sister-in-law Rosie Augustine of Hays; his grandchildren, Nicole Komaromi (John), John Augustine (Kirsten), Rebecca Cole (Garrett) and Raena Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Stanley, Isabella, Henry Komaromi and George Augustine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or for masses.
