She was predeceased by: her husband Francis H. "Blackie" Karlin; her sons, Johnny Ray and Jay Karlin; and her siblings, Norbert, Edgar, William, Hilarius, Francis J., Harold, Robert J. Schmidt, Alexia Sander, Angela Rohr, Clara Schmidt, Florene Froelich and Maria Schmidt.
She is survived by: her sons, James Karlin of Hays, Dennis Karlin (Cathleen) of Hays and Jerry Karlin (Nancy) of Greeley, CO; and her grandchildren, Angela Karlin, Tony Karlin (Rachel), Audrey Karlin (Brandon Wilt), Anne Gibbs (Ryan), Ali Davis (Andrew), Julia Nisly (Grant) and Blake Karlin. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
