We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2022, at the age of 93, Laura Klaus of Hays, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendelin Werth and Brigitta Werth (Dinges); her husband Edwin Klaus; her siblings, Ralph (Martina), Linus (Bernice), Donald (Charlotte), LeRoy Werth, LaVera Schuckman (Elmer), Joyce Klaus (Robert) and Mary Catherine Barnes (Tom); her brothers-in-law, Leonard Stoecklein, Marvin Klaus (Mary Frances), Norman Klaus and Gerald Braun; and her granddaughters, Schöene Klaus and Lynay Call.
She is survived by: her children, Elden (Kay), Robert Klaus (Suzanne) of Hays and Ellen Call (Richard) of Hays; her siblings, Paul Werth (Donna) of Great Bend, Clarice Stoecklein of Ness City and Dorothy Moeder (John) of Hays; her grandchildren, Allyson Sullivan (Sam) of Larned, Rachel Klaus of Hays, Sayre Shuck of Hays, Brandon Klaus of Topeka, Sheena Piotrowski (Tim) of Austin and Jerree Call of Topeka; her great grandchildren, Tayden, Dylan, Shaely Shuck, Gwendolyn Rose, Isabelle Jean Piotrowski, Amathist Johnson and Emerson Sullivan; and her siblings-in-law, Wilma Braun, Marilyn Leiker, Christa Werth and Eugene Klaus (Irma). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Unify, Beautify and Glorify Fund or Hospice of Hays Medical Center.
