He was predeceased by: his parents, Bohumil "Shorty" Branda and Edith Branda (Mahoney). He is survived by: his wife Amy (Hoch) of Wilson; his children, Joan Branda of Trenton, TX, Sharon McConnell (Mike) of South Haven, KS and Martin Swart (Courtney) of Canton, KS; and his grandchildren, Kristin Weger (Josh), Jessica Douglas (Cody), Kaitlin Graham (Roger), Breanna Stroman (Seth), James McConnell and Oliver Swart. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
