He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund J. Braun and Philomena "Minnie" Braun (Rohr); his former wife Mary; and his brother Everett Braun. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Rohleder (Brungardt) of Hays; his sons, Tom Braun (Anita) of Addison, TX, Steve Braun (Susan) of Overland Park, Kevin Braun (Dana) of Westlake, TX and Chris Braun (Missy) of Andover; his stepchildren, Kathy Mead (Steven) of Santa Fe, NM, Lisa Lang (Tim) of Hays, Cheryl Rohleder of Hays, Craig Rohleder (Beth) of Hays, Niel Rohleder (Roberta) of Pahrump, NV, Eric Rohleder (Casey) of Topeka, Ann Noble (Warren) of Hays, Kent Rohleder of Hays and Scott Rohleder (Cari) of Hays; his sister Cora Schulte of Victoria; his grandchildren, Eric Braun (Elizabeth), Isaac Braun (Maddy), Emery Braun, Jacob Braun, Taylor Pearson (Connor), Morgan Braun, Chance Braun and Max Braun; and his great grandchild Oslo Pearson. He is also survived by 21 step grandchildren, 13 step great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to TMP-Marian High School or the Basilica of St. Fidelis.
